The brief of the project was to develop a resort at Korlai, a small fishing village along the coastline. The site is a thin meandering piece of land that gradually slopes towards sea. The site captures the view of the mountain on one side and steps down along the length framing the view of the sea. The diagram aligns the built form into two intertwining bars along the periphery of the site and the landscape flows through the building. The volume of the building also steps down towards the sea. The internal courtyard blurs the line between the inside and the outside allowing the landscape to take foreground. The swimming pool area along with the cafe capturing a glimpse of both the landform and the sea.
